PAR4 modular coffee table by French designer Bernard Vuarnesson for Bellato, Italy 1970's.

Four pull out table tops. Irokko wooden frame. Each top has a black or ivory white side which can be composed into different color combinations and shapes.

Manufacturer 'Bellato' stopped existing in the 1980's and this design was sold to the French company 'Sculptures Jeux' which was owned by Mrs. Vuarnesson.

This coffee table however is an early and original Bellato Italy table.

Bernard Vuarnesson has an engineering degree from Ecole Supérieure du Bois (university college of wood) and a civil engineering degree from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers de Paris.
