Radboud van Beekum FM62 set
Characteristic set of two FM62 Cubic chairs designed by Radboud van Beekum for Pastoe the Netherlands in the 1980s.
The Chairs come with a off-white lacquered square metal frame with the back and seat in cognac colored Saddle Leather.
The Cubic Table comes with a equal lacquered square metal frame with a brownish wooden table top.
The Cube 'Kubus' chair was introduced in 1980 during the Triennale in Poznan Poland.
Initially in a disassembled edition, supplied with a canvas upholstery. From 1984 the FM 61 and FM 62 appeared in assembled edition, with a colored wooden seat and back (FM 61) and saddle leather (FM 62).
Radboud van Beekum (Rijswijk The Netherlands, 1950) graduated in architectural design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 1977.
All in very good condition with normal wear & tear.
The leather makes this set very speccial.
